1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs access to and use of the websites, market data, indexes, signals, analytics, software, APIs, reports, communications, and other services provided by Time Seventeen Inc. (“Time Seventeen,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) (collectively, the “Services”). It applies to every user and to any person or entity acting through a user’s account.
2. Unlawful and Harmful Use
You may not use, enable, or facilitate use of the Services:
- for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or malicious activity;
- to harm, harass, threaten, exploit, or endanger another person;
- to violate privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, contractual, or other rights;
- to distribute malware, malicious code, or content designed to compromise systems or data;
- to evade sanctions, export controls, geographic restrictions, or other applicable legal requirements; or
- in a manner that exposes Time Seventeen, its affiliates, customers, vendors, or users to material legal, security, or reputational risk.
3. Market Integrity
You may not use the Services to manipulate or attempt to manipulate a market, benchmark, index, price, order book, trading venue, or settlement process. Prohibited conduct includes wash trading, spoofing, layering, coordinated artificial activity, dissemination of knowingly false market information, misuse of material non-public information, and any other conduct prohibited by applicable market-abuse, securities, commodities, derivatives, or financial-services law.
You are responsible for determining whether you are legally eligible to access a venue, asset, product, or jurisdiction and for complying with the rules of every venue or protocol you use.
4. Security and Access
You may not:
- access or attempt to access accounts, systems, data, or functionality without authorization;
- share credentials except as expressly permitted by the applicable Services Agreement;
- probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without prior written authorization;
- interfere with service availability, integrity, monitoring, rate limits, or security controls;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, models, or non-public methodology except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- use automated means to scrape or extract data beyond documented interfaces or agreed limits.
You must use reasonable safeguards to protect credentials, signing devices, keys, and systems used to access the Services and promptly notify Time Seventeen of suspected unauthorized access.
5. Data and Intellectual Property
You may not submit content or data unless you have all rights and permissions required for Time Seventeen to process it. You may not submit highly sensitive personal data, regulated health data, payment-card data, private keys, seed phrases, or other restricted information unless expressly authorized in writing.
You may not copy, resell, sublicense, publish, redistribute, or create a competing product from the Services, data, indexes, signals, reports, or deliverables except as expressly permitted by an applicable agreement.
6. High-Risk Decisions
The Services provide information and analytical tools, not legal, tax, accounting, investment, or other professional advice. You must apply qualified human review before using any output for trading, investment, credit, employment, legal, regulatory, safety-critical, or other decisions that may materially affect a person or entity.
You are solely responsible for trading and investment decisions, position sizing, venue selection, wallet security, regulatory compliance, and independent verification of data and outputs. Past performance and historical data do not guarantee future results.
7. Enforcement
Time Seventeen may investigate suspected violations and may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Services or third parties, comply with law, or address a violation. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure. We may preserve and disclose information as required by law.
8. Changes and Contact
We may update this AUP from time to time. The updated version becomes effective on its stated effective date. Questions or reports of suspected violations may be sent to quant@t17.capital.
